Want to Obtain a Provincial Nominee?

This program targets individuals based on their skills, education and work experience in order to contribute to its provinces economy. It offers individuals with a route to permanent residence in Canada. In each province or territory, qualified individuals can apply for specific streams. The eligibility requirements and application procedures will differ between each province. These PNPs are closely linked with the Federal Express Entry system. If you meet the criteria of a specific province and have a valid Express Entry profile, you may receive a provincial nomination, boosting your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

There are two ways in which individuals can apply for a Provincial Nominee Program. The first method an individual can apply is directly through the provinces website. This is called the Non-Express Entry process, if you meet the province/territory eligibility requirements, and complete the required application process, upon approval, the province will nominates you.

In the Express Entry process, an individual can create an express entry profile and select the provinces and/or territories they are interested in. If the person meets the eligibility requirements, the province or territory will send a notification of interest to their profile. The individual will then respond to the province/territory by completing an application. If the individual is nominated, the province or territory will send a nomination certificate to their account, in which the person must accept it electronically.
